The Class of 1896 has turned over to the College the Charles A. Weston bequest of $1,000 this action was voted by the Class at its last Reunion.

Word has been received of the death of Talmadge Hamilton on March 5, at Seattle, Washington. Hamilton did not attend any of our Reunions and your Secretary had to communicate with the family in order to obtain the necessary information to prepare his obituary for the In Memoriam section of this issue of the MAGAZINE.

The report of gifts to the Baker Library includes that of Stephen Chase consisting of fifty-three medals, mostly of gold, won by him in eleven Dartmouth athletic events.

The Library also reports a bequest by Philip Young of 198 volumes including many valuable books on old furniture and antiques, and a complete set of the Publications of the Marine Research Society of Salem, Mass.
