Our fall program opens with momentum supplied by our most successful picnic at the beginning of the summer. On June 23 a total of sixty—count 'em, 60!— turned out, the largest attendance ever. Alumni and families, undergrads and dates, guests—it was a grand collection of Dartmouth folks ranging from class of 1872 to class of 1910. Jim DeHaven ran the show, with inspired help from MontyMountcastle, Sam Caldwell, Roily Wilson and, eventually, from most everybody. Date for our October dinner meeting has not yet been set, but watch for it—election of officers the chief order of business.
