Women, Women—Women you can't live without them and you can't live with them—However, the School Officials think that undergraduate bliss is a possibility?? Can you imagine some guy holding his pressure through a boring lecture after which he bolts down the hall to the "John" only to find a bevy of Queens powdering their noses . . . utter frustration!!

Maybe I miss the point entirely, but Dartmouth was founded for Indians—no mention was made by Eleazar about Squaws—Sorry girls.

"Doc" Fred Hecht M.D. is coming to Boston. Fred is on a sabbatical leave from the University of Oregon Medical School where he is associate professor of Pediatrics and Medical Genetics. While in Boston he will be with the Genetics Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He will also work with Dr. John Littlefield in Human Somatic Cell Genetics while on a special research fellowship from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Fred's lovely wife, Irene, will be working concurrently at Cambridge on a research historical problem in economic demography with fellowships from the Charles Warren Center for American Studies at Harvard and Radcliffe Institute.

Fred and Irene will be hauling their four children, Rick 14, Mathew 12, Maude 9, and Toby 7, across the country to 6 Partridge Lane, Winchester, Mass. New England looks forward to your arrival!!

Blackie Smith has been elected to the McCallie School Board of Trustees. Blackie is executive vice-president and secretary of Miller Brothers Company, and treasurer of both the Miller Investment and the future Chattanooga Development Corp. He is director of the Red Food Stores, the United Fund, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and the Y.M.C.A. You're a real busy guy, Blackie!!!

Jimmy Weidman has been appointed to the newly-created position of Director of Corporate Communication for Welch Foods, Inc. In his new position, Jim will be responsible for coordinating an increased communications effort by the company to an array of audiences including employees, plant communities, the business community, customers, consumers, suppliers, and others. Congratulations, Jim, and good luck in your new venture.

Our Deputy Assistant U. S. Secreatry of State Al Reich recently addressed the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. Al of the State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs discussed the "Town Affiliation" on "People to People" program.

Larry Newman, vice-president of the Green Mountain Furniture Company, will assume control of plant operations for the newly acquired H. T. Cushman Manufacturing Company. Green Mountain recently purchased Cushman Company for $5,000,000. Nice work, Larry??

Stork Time for the Calhouns... the North Star state's great producer E. KentCalhoun and his fine wife, Charlotte, announce the arrival of Steven Carson Calhoun, 7 lbs. 12 ozs., on April 16, 1971.
