The final meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Maine was held at South Freeport on June 4. The committee, consisting of Bill Shapleigh '12, Chairman, John White, OakleyCurtis '43, and George Brinley '4O, really outdid themselves in arranging a beautiful feed complete with all the trimmings. Lobster and clams, done in true clambake fashion, were consumed at a very rapid pace.
The affair was so gala, that it is expected that it will become an annual occasion for the Dartmouth Club of Maine. Several of the out of town alumni were present, and enjoyed themselves most heartily. The attend ance was well over 92 alumni and their wives, and it is hoped that next year many out of town alumni from other clubs will be on hand to partake of a good State of Maine clambake.
Elections were held, and the following are in office for the next year: President, WilliamShapleigh '12; Vice President, Lawrence Andrews Jr. '41; Regional Vice President, JohnMcKernan '36; Regional Vice President, Winslow Durgin '30; Treasurer, Allen Hazen '39; Secretary, Edgar Curtis Jr. '40; Executive Committee jfeftbef, William Carr '34.
