This will serve as an invitation to our new members in the area to join in club activities during the coming season. Among our new members is Don Scully Jr. '49, captain of Tommy Dent's Big Green lacrosse team last spring, second-string All-America his junior year and a starter in the annual North-South game. Don Scully 'l8 was consequently busy commuting between Orchard Park and Hanover, but managed to take time out to win an important honor for himself—the Buffalo District Senior Golf Championship.

A fall program has been mapped out by your Executive Committee. John Cogswell '31 heads a committee making plans for observance of Dartmouth Night, October 7, at the Saturn Club. Chet Gale '19 is chairman of a group working on arrangements for a directwire broadcast of the Dartmouth-Cornell game, November 12. Plan to be on hand for the "kick-off" at the University Club if you can't make it to Memorial Field.

The annual Cornell-Dartmouth-MichiganPennsylvania golf outing held at the Cherry Hill Country Club on June 21 was a pronounced success, due in large measure to the efforts of committee chairman John Cheney '30. Approximately forty Dartmouth stalwarts attended the function and, although the Indians were unsuccessful in their efforts to recapture the famous "Wailing Bowl," everyone present had a grand time.
