Daytona Beach

As reported in the News-Journal, the first meeting of the Daytona Beach, Florida Dartmouth Club was held last month, attended by all Dartmouth men known to be in the town- T.Nelson O'Rourke '27, investment broker, Bill Martin '07, advertising manager, and John Barker '46, silverware salesman. There's an uncertainty as to which was elected president, secretary and sergeant-at-arms. Next meeting, to which Dartmouth men in other nearby Florida towns are invited, will be a steak dinner in Nelson O'Rourke's yard, a date to be announced. We're going to try to form a Dartmouth Club for N. E. Florida, particularly of those in the Jacksonville area. Send us your name.
