THE ALUMNI MAGAZINE this month devotes its columns largely to the 34th annual report port of the Dartmouth Alumni Fund, with the names of all contributors listed with the notes from the classes and associated schools. A special table of Alumni Fund contents is printed below.
As its lead article, the MAGAZINE is pleased to present a review of the 1948 football season, written by Bill Cunningham '19, wellknown columnist for The Boston Herald, whose following among Dartmouth men and all over New England is huge. If you were not properly impressed by the 1948 Big Green, Bill will probably change your mind with his article The Indian Sharpens Up HisGridiron Tomahawk, starting on page 17. A shorter feature, by Prof. Ray Nash of the Art Department, deals with Isaiah Thomas, "founder" of the Dartmouth Library. It will be found on Page 27.
