We were fortunate in having Barney Madden, Sports Editor of the Providence Journaland Evening-Bulletin, as our speaker at the November luncheon. Drawing on his years of experience and his personal coverage of games this fall, he gave an interesting picture of the football situation today, and his ideas as to the relative positions of the eastern teams when the season will have been completed.

President George Tillinghast '36 called attention to the fact that the January luncheon will be held during the college vacation, and will be the annual undergraduate luncheon, with a large turnout of undergraduates and alumni expected.
