Everything seems to be ready for the longawaited Dartmouth West-o£-the-Mississippi Conference to be held here in Denver, November 10-11. Definite reservations have been received from twenty-one delegates representing Missouri, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Illinois, lowa, Minnesota, California, Nebraska and Washington. This does not include the four representatives from the College: Sid Hayward '26, AI Dickerson '30, Eddie Chamberlain '36 and Bob Hage '35.

Work horses for the Denver Association in planning the Conference have been Don McKinley '37, in charge of the business meetings, and Hart Gilchrist '31 in charge of the entertainment.

Housing the delegates has been capably handled by Ken Perry '44, and Don Casey '48 is in charge of transportation. The latter principally involves getting everyone from the Albany Hotel to the home of Ev Parker '16 who has very generously volunteered to be host for a cocktail party preceding the stag dinner at the Cherry Hills Country Club on Friday night.

Bill Spinney '41 almost had to bring out his uniform as a captain in the Mountain Troops but the fact that he had four dependents saved the day. Ed Small '41 was not so fortunate and recently reported to the Naval Net Tender School at Tiburon, Calif., for active duty. Steve Bradley '39 is the new manager for the City of Denver ski area at Winter Park. Two out-of-town Dartmouth men recently enjoyed the excellent hospitality of the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Richard Hood '30 attended an FBI convention and Lee Chilcote '30 rested up there from the rigors of deer-hunting.
