The Bridgeport Association held a special luncheon on Saturday, April x, at the University Club. The occasion for this affair was to pay special honor to Bob Hustek '51 of Bridgeport, who was recently elected Captain of the Varsity Basketball Team for the year 1950-1951.
Sitting at the head table with Bob was his Dad and also his High School Coach at Bassick High School, Harry Lyon. Also present at the affair was Charles Pierson '09, who was one of Bob's teachers at Bassick and who always has taken a special interest in him.
Bob made a short speech and he was followed by Harry Lyon, who went on to state what a warm spot he had in his heart for Dartmouth and reminisced a bit over players he had sent to Hanover, namely Wiley Hubbell, Joe Vancisson and finally, Bob.
