On Monday evening, April 24, a meeting of the Dartmouth Club of the South Shore was held at Coral Gables in North Weymouth with 58 members present, the largest attendance this year. It was an annual meeting, the Club having successfully completed its first year, and after a report from the Chairman of the Nominating Committee, Russell Harper '32, the following officers were elected for the coming year: Gus Pratt '44, President; TomParker, '36, Vice President; Walt Gutterson '29, Secretary; Fred Miller '40, Treasurer; Dr.Wallace H. Drake '14, Ward Donner '33 and Dick Leary '47, executive committee.

After the dinner, Gus Pratt introduced the speaker, Eddie Jeremiah '30, who gave a most interesting talk about Dartmouth sports and made the evening a complete success with his humor and stories.

BEFORE THE ANNUAL NEW YORK DINNER on April 12, a reception at the Dartmouth Club honored President Dickey and three other Trustees of the College. The guests of honor (I to r) were Nelson A. Rockefeller '30, Sigurd S. Larmon '14, President Dickey and Beardsley Ruml '15. More than 600 alumni attended the dinner at the Commodore, one of the most successful New York affairs on recent record.
