This is a book for the expert and contains more material on every type of arms and ammunition, both American and foreign, than has ever been assembled before. The 700 illustrations, and the Manufacturers Directory add greatly to the value of the book. Sixteen experts in their fields have written the different sections of the book. The subjects considered are Ammunition, Handguns, Rifles and Shotguns. To one interested in these fields the book is undoubtedly "a must". The publisher's description states—"This encyclopedic volume covers every important phase of guns, shooting, hunting. Full information is given on all types of automatics, as well as ballistics, ammunition, and gear; remodelling and repair guidance and instruction are given in detail."
