Jimmy Brotherhood in late August says, "After a long silence I received news from my old side kick Kid Vail who writes that he has retired and is now located in Sag Harbor, Long Island, N. Y., P. O. Box 192." Jimmy is Medical Coordinator for the Michigan Crippled Children Commission, Federal Sq. Bldg., Room 318, Grand Rapids 2, Mich. Jim is anticipating the privilege of hearing Sara Jordan Mower deliver a paper this month before a State Medical meeting in Grand Rapids. Jim and his good wife also hope to show Sara Mower what she has missed by spending her professional and home life in Boston.
The 104th Quarterly Meeting of the New England Council will gather again at GilMoulton's Marshall House at York Harbor, Me., Thursday and Friday, September 13 and 14. The writer has a definite thought that Gil was one of the representatives of the State of Maine appointed by their Governor to join with the other New England States in forming the Council which has been a great influence for more than 25 years in the development of our New England.
Most of our members will remember Stevie, secretary of 1901 since their graduation, who, just after his fiftieth reunion in June, was married to Mrs. Johnson, sister of Artie Bolster, bringing more closely the 50-year bond of friendship between '01 and their freshmen, '04.
Our Muchmores are now moving to DeBary, Fla., where they will receive their mail at Box 193 after September 15. We are certain that their New England ties will bring them New Hampshireward at frequent intervals. Harrie now says they have the fiftieth definitely in mind and with this plan we salute HO-HO-KUS.
