Air Force Opportunities

The United States Air Force is interested in offering direct appointments in the Air Force Reserve to individuals qualified in technical specialties, such as those persons having degrees in Business Administration, Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, and allied fields. Persons who do not meet the eligibility criteria in business, scientific, professional or technical fields but who have demonstrated by their civilian records that they are outstanding in their respective specialties may be appointed upon approval of the Chief of Staff, USAF.

All appointments are made for a period of five years, except those in force at the outbreak of war or during a war. Within an age range up to 56 years, applicants who meet the physical, personal and educational requirements may be eligible for positions which are on a par with civilian appointments, in salary and professional value. Recent college graduates with technical specialties applicable to Air Force use are particularly eligible.
