The Dartmouth Club of Western Connecticut met at the Chimney Corner Inn off the Parkway in Stamford on Friday, November 3, to hear Eddie Chamberlain '36, assistant director of athletics, in a talk on the Hanover scene, and to view movies on football and campus activities. In addition, the group heard a playing of the record cut especially for Dartmouth night. Ev Robie '17 described the work of the committee on admissions for the area.
Alumni attending the meeting included Otto Calder '35, Jim Dolan '46, George Franson '30, Wallace Blakey '30, Horace L. Shepard Jr. '22, Robert F. Staley '42, John C. Zimmerman '23, Thomas C. Hunter '42, Josiah B. Chandler '30, Robert Grosby '47, Max Spelke '16, Ray Talbott '29, Seymour Ellis '38, Jack Brodie '5O, Pete Fahey '46, Nelson Krogslund '34, Mort Karp '37, Stuart Palmer '29, Bo Wentworth '32, Ev Robie '17, and Eddie Chamberlain '36. Among the guests were Gus Karukas from Georgetown, and Milt Sarner.
Ev Robie '17 has given up the office of secretary-treasurer, which he has filled for many years, to become president of the Dartmouth Clubs of Connecticut. Otto Calder '35 has taken over the job of heading the local organization.
