The Great Divide

It is with regret that we report the death of Fred P. Carleton '18 on October 15. He was an active officer in the accounting firm of Hanskins & Sells, and his contributions to the College and to our Association will be sorely missed.

Our president, Ralph L. Rickenbaugh '28, was in Hanover for Dartmouth Night, October 17, and reported to us the good news of the Daniel Webster National Scholarships, about which we are all most enthusiastic.

We look forward to the return of our undergraduates "for the Christmas holidays and have planned a luncheon for them, and a cocktail party for them, their guests and friends.
