Through April 2 the College's Alumni Fund had raised $6,121,000 from 11,202 contributors. For those of you who are interested in statistics, this represents a bit over 50 percent of the goal. There has been a 30-percent participation, with the College looking for 68 percent in order to meet the goal of $11,750,000. Our class has been doing itself proud thanks to the superb efforts of Sandy McGinnes' Alumni Fund Committee. The class of 1964 leads its Alumni Fund group, having raised $95,498 from 224 contributors. This is almost 80 percent of the $120,000 goal. By the time you read this column, the campaign will be almost over. Our class has a tradition of generosity to Dartmouth. In 1975 we set a lOth-year reunion record of $64,000. In 1984 we set a 20year-out record of $109,000. Each of us at Dartmouth was helped by the generosity of the preceding classes. A gift to Dartmouth is the best way to repay what the College has meant to us.
