The annual winter meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Maine was held recently at the Cumberland Club in Portland. We were very well pleased to have Beanie Nutt '41 as our principal speaker, and in turn he showed pictures taken on the last cruise of the Blue Dolphin, with some very interesting side comments.

It was very interesting to note that in spite of the bad weather on the night of the meeting, that we had quite a range of alumni in attendance, the oldest alumnus honors going to Phil Thompson '02, and the youngest going to Les Richards '51. Honors for the longest distance travelled went to George Sawyer '32, who travelled from Aroostook County in the State of Maine. This in itself is no mean accomplishment. George Musk '32 received his second honors of the year and gave us an up-to-date resume of the requirements of the interviewing committees, and also the requirements of the boys who wish to go to Dartmouth.

Our President, Chuck Burnell '27, presided, and Beanie Nutt, our principal speaker, was introduced by Larry Andrews '41.

As this is written, the Club is looking forward with great anticipation to the appearance of Dr. John Sloan Dickey on February 23.
