Coach Red Hoehn should have another team this spring that is strong all the way down and will probably win more matches at the lower end than at the upper end. Against such aggregations as Princeton, with a couple of the leading amateur players of the East, the team will be lucky indeed to win the top matches, but will give a very good account of itself down the line. Captain Bill Randall leads the team this year, which has a total of six lettermen. Playing in the No. 1 slot will probably be Tommie Allen, who won his letter as a sophomore but was not in college last year. Albie Collins is currently playing at No. 2, with Captain Randall at No. 3. Mendy Balkin, Artie Epranian, and Doc Dey are the other lettermen, and there is a very promising sophomore in the person of Bill Bullen. The spring trip saw the team matched against some of the best aggregations in the mid-south. The competition had, furthermore, weeks of practice before the Hanover boys ever got out of the cage.
