Dr. Edward H. Ross has entered Brightlook Hospital, St. Johnsbury, Vt., as a patient because the condition of his legs has recently become worse. His mind is as keen as ever. Ned was one of the founders of this hospital and for many years, or until he gave up his practice, was president of the institution, which is non-profit and privately managed. Though considered a small hospital by present standards, it has served a large area in Vermont and New Hampshire north of Hanover for nearly 50 years and has a high rating. Ned is the dean of the medical profession in his community.

Biff and Lillian Kelly have conditioned their Florida home to enable them to spend May and October there and their Vermont home to be comfortable during June and September. So this couple is now making a quick transfer from one place to the other by airplane each year.

Both St. Petersburg and Greensboro are growing in popularity and attractiveness for retired people. The Kellys' St. Petersburg guest book has registered between 30 and 40 new names every year for the last 20-odd years, a large number of their visitors being friends they have made in their various northern homes throughout the years.

When Nathaniel Leverone '06 of Chicago addressed the University Club in Winter Park, Fla., in March, he was guest at a special dinner of the Winter Park Dartmouth Club. Twenty members and their wives, including Billie andGenieve Newton, were present and Billie reports a most pleasant occasion.

The May issue of the Class Letter is sent to all the near relatives of deceased members. Many of the 'B6 family respond by sending substantial gifts to the Alumni Fund as memorials. This has enabled the Class to lead all others in the "participation index" (550% in '51) by a wide margin every year for the last nine years.
