The class reunion was held at the Follansbee Inn in North Sutton, N. H., June 26-28. Present were: Bigelow, Butterfield, Christy, Hadlock, Hastings, Jenkins, Prescott, Proctor, Putnam, Rankin, Sampson, Tuttle, Virgin, Wallace and Woodman.

There were no formal proceedings. Starting with an outline of the plan for bequests to the College, Harry Sampson gave an interesting and instructive talk on wills and taxes.

Hoddy Christy proved himself the most active; the number of times around Lake Kezar is not a matter of record. Ed Bigelow, who supposedly was in Europe, can vouch for one round, as he was along.

Charlie Proctor exhibited a colored film showing undergraduate activities. In one case at least, comparison with memory pictures brought home the changes that fifty-odd years can make.

Harry and Miriam Sampson had postponed until autumn their customary summer holiday at Whitefield, N. H., because of Miriam's illness. It is with our deepest sympathy for Harry that we report her death on August 19 at her home in Cambridge, Mass. Services were held at the First Church in Cambridge, Congregational, on August 22. Miriam was present at our Golden Anniversary Reunion, as well as others, and was well known among those of our fellowship.

After graduation from Wellesley College she taught mathematics there, at the Flora MacDonald College in North Carolina, and at the American College for Girls in Constanti- nople. She was for several years treasurer and a director of the Cambridge YWCA. She had been president of the Cambridge Visiting Nurses' Association and at the time of her death was a director of that association.

Betty Blair was with the American Red Cross eight years, the first three years as Gen- eral Field Representative for Eastern Massa- chusetts, the last five years with the Blood Bank in Boston. She has now accepted the position of Administrative Assistant to Dr. Edwin C. Cohn, head of University Labora- tory of Physical Chemistry Related to Medi- cine and Public Health. Her office is at Har- vard Medical School.

In mid-August Arthur Wallace and BenPrescott stopped off at Follansbee Inn where your secretary has spent the last six summers. Arthur reported that he and Ben had been spending a week in Hanover. He was headed back to Milford to keep office hours and was to return to Hanover in a couple of days. On his way he had stopped off at Stinson Lake and called on the Pete Fletchers. Arthur now reports the birth of a seventh great-grand-child—Janice Lee, born to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Petry, July 27, 1952. One day Arthur and Ben drove to Chelsea, Vt., to attend the dedication of the Brookhaven House for boys. They called on Mrs. Atwood and report her in apparent good health and spirits. On their return to Milford they stopped by for dinner.

CAPE CODDER: Kitty Cate '01 (I) shows his new home in West Dennis, Mass., to Classmate Jim Kimball, who paid him a visit last July.
