If you have heeded the alerts issued in this column and in the scintillating page of SKIDDOO this is the month you have planned to return to Hanover for our 1953 FAMILY PARTY AND WINTER REUNION, February 27 and 28. We hope that all of you who have kids in College will be on hand for the Fathers and Sons Dinner, and that all of you who don't have kids up there, but who have a yen to see a bunch of congenial classmates and to refresh your jaded nervous systems by exposure to the Hanover scene, will be on hand. In addition, we have hopes of sitting around the table with a bunch of you during the session to exchange talk about Class and College affairs and do some planning for future Class activities, including our next regular Class reunion in June of '54. In case you want to be on deck and have not yet made positive plans, write, wire or phone Ivan Martin, Reid and Hughes Cos., Salem, Mass., and he will line things up for you.
Lonely Hearts Department
Your correspondent has conducted another of his extensive researches, this one having to do with the expressed desires of a number of our Class to hear about friends of theirs, and what follows "is a listing of men who have asked for news of other classmates, together with the names of said classmates. The idea of all of this is to urge that those of you who are listed will communicate with each other and get up to date on each other's affairs. In other words, if Joe Doakes wants news of John Doe, we urge brother Doe to drop Doakes a line, or bust in on his home or office some day soon, and exchange the latest scuttlebut. The list which follows isn't complete, and we hope later to provide some more of the same.
