The alumni of Western Connecticut were treated to an ideal Dartmouth Night on December 12. The Glee Club gave an excellent concert in the Norwalk High School auditorium before a crowd of almost a thousand hardly a seat was vacant. Then a dance was held at the Stamford Yacht Club and music was furnished by some members of the Barbary Coast orchestra. The Glee Club and their dates were guests of the alumni at this dance, which was most enjoyable because of the spontaneous entertainment provided by the undergraduates. This evening was a terrific asset to our Club activity and the promotion of Dartmouth spirit in the community. We are looking forward to a return visit of the Glee Club within the near future.
Plans have already been made for the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of Western Connecticut on April 29. Dean Joseph McDonald and Arthur Hayes Sulzberger, publisher of The New York Times, will be the principal speakers. The dinner will be held at the Stamford Yacht Club and promises to be as successful an affair as previous alumni dinners, which have attracted each year over 150 alumni from this area.
