Our conscientious head agent John White confided the early results of the Alumni Fund with his thanks for those classmates who have generously contributed. The final figures are being carried in the comprehensive and commodious newsletter authored by younger-than- most George Herman. White's dear wife Pudge continues to be tormented by the muscle pains that have resisted medication, acupuncture, and hot baths. Anyone having remedies for fibromyalgia, please respond.
Wedding bells will ring on August 9 in nearby Venice, Fla., where the Taber and Holmes clans will gather for the marriage of Don Taber and his long-time neighbor, Jo Holmes. The couple's nine children, eleven grandchildren, and Jo's 94-year-old mother are expected to attend. The new address for Don and Jo is 223 Southampton Drive, Venice, FL 34293.
Don and Jean Knight over at Ponte Vedra on the Atlantic side of Florida will soon be celebrating their wedding—of 15 years ago. Don is now editing a novel he wrote about pre-WW II Germany. It's a subject he knows from first-hand experience, having been in Der Vaterland as an exchange student from Tabor Academy. He also just completed four year's work on the board of directors of the Jacksonville Symphony. A man for all seasons.

Talked to Win Watson's Jan (in July) in Darien, Conn., and found that he was coming along fine after his stroke in May. He has no physical impairment but still needs some speech therapy. Win is doing a little gardening and hitting a few golf balls and he really appreciates hearing from his '41 friends.
Bob Leske and his wife, Karin, have lived in Nantucket, Mass., for nigh unto 40 years and still love it, though they winter at St. Simons, Ga. Bob is a retired real-estate and insurance man and likes to blow his own horn, literally. He still plays his Barbary Coast trumpet on occasion and he also welcomes classmates to Capt. Tobey's Chowder House, the family-owned restaurant on Nantucket Island.
