Luncheon Every Wednesday Noon Danny's Restaurant 516 Grant Street Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Dartmouth Club of Western Pennsylvania had a fine turnout of over 70 for its annual father and son luncheon on December 31. Coach Julian and the basketball squad were our guests. Doggie introduced the team and Captain Gieg was called on to say a few words. President Stew Steffey '41 introduced our guest of honor, Doc Carlson, basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh.

We had wonderful attendance both nights that the team played in the Steel Bowl basketball tournament. The Dartmouth Club of Western Pennsylvania enjoyed having the basketball team in Pittsburgh and sincerely hopes they will be back next year to avenge their two defeats by Pitt and Duquesne.

The Club will have its annual meeting on February 13 at 7:00 P.M. in the Jones and Laughlin Dining Room in Pittsburgh's Gateway Center. Professor Ralph A. Burns will be our guest speaker. Maurie Baruth '45 and George Scott '25 have done an excellent job with the dinner and entertainment arrangements and we are looking forward to a record turnout of alumni and their families from this area.
