Luncheon Every Wednesday Noon Danny's Restaurant 516 Grant Street Pittsburgh, Pa.

The concert by the Dartmouth Glee Club on April 1 at the Mellon Junior High School Auditorium in Mt. Lebanon was a huge success musically, socially, and financially. More than 800 people turned out for the concert, a very pleasing attendance considering the fact that the night was cold and rainy. The audience was well rewarded with an excellent performance by the Glee Club of an interesting and varied program.

Following the concert, there was a party for the boys in the Glee Club at the Colonial Inn just outside Mt. Lebanon. The attendance at this party exceeded all advance expectations and, to say the least, the facilities were a bit over taxed. However, President Stew Steffey '41 had secured a large number of lovely young ladies as dates for the Glee Club members, and the boys and their dates seemed to thoroughly enjoy the party despite the crowded quarters.

The Club owes a vote of thanks to the members of the concert committee (and their wives) who worked so hard to make the concert and party such a success. The members of this committee were: Mac Corner '44, chairman, Jim Hooker '43, Sam Coombs '44, JimMelville '50, Stew Steffey '41, Fred Garfield '46, John Simpson '49, and Carll Tracy '49.

Brock H. Brower '53, recent editor of TheDartmouth, addressed a special luncheon meeting of the Club on April 3. The fact that the luncheon was held on Good Friday prevented many members from attending, but those who were there heard an excellent talk by a very charming and well-spoken young man.
