The Hoosier Branch of Dartmouth closed out the previous year with a talk by a truly welcomed guest. Dean Joseph L. McDonald honored us with his presence at the University Club on December 30. It was really an occasion, as the Dean is a native Hoosier and many of the alumni present were former pupils of his.
The interviewing committee advises us of a promising crop of prospective Dartmouth freshmen from Indianapolis and the balance of the state which we serve.
Plans now in progress for the spring meeting in March include a visit by Justin Stanley, Vice President of the College.
We were saddened by the loss of John L.Mann '94, who passed away ill December. John was a truly loyal Dartmouth man and will be greatly missed by all of us.
At the meeting in December those who attended were members of classes ranging from 1897, represented by Dr. Walter F. Kelly, to 1952, represented by Robert Robertson.
