James T. McFate of Wayne, Pa., has been appointed Manager of the Hanover Inn, beginning July 1, according to an announcement by Victor G. Borella '30, chairman of the Hanover Inn Board of Overseers.

Mr. McFate comes to Hanover with an extensive background of more than 25 years in the hotel business. He has owned and operated the Wayne Hotel for the past 15 years. During World War II he managed the College Arms Hotel and Golf Club in Deland, Fla., first as a resort hotel and later as a U.S. Navy Rest Center. Before the war he served as manager of the 400-room Wolverine Hotel in Detroit and had previously been associated with the Bismarck in Chicago and the Hotel Northampton in Northampton, Mass.

Since July 1, 1951, the Inn dining room and coffee shop have been under the management of August L. Zollikofer, and the rooms under the management of Mrs. Adele Ives. Upon Mr. Zollikofer's recently tendered resignation, it was determined by the Board of Overseers to appoint a new general manager to be responsible for both food and room operations at the Inn. Mrs. Ives will continue to serve as hostess.
