The fall activity of the Dartmouth!, in Central New York was off to a fast start with an excellent attendance at the annual Send-off Smoker for entering freshmen. This event, honoring the eleven men from this area in the Class of 1958, was held on Monday evening, September 13, at the Onondaga Golf Club. A minimum of speech-making and a maximum of good fellowship were enjoyed by the alumni and undergraduates alike.
A second event took place in September, our monthly luncheon, which was distinguished by its new location - a very toney spot - the Community Room of the Onondaga Bank branch office. All alumni please note that future luncheons will be held on the third Thursday of each month at this new location. A cateress will provide a complete luncheon for a most attractive price, and the privacy afforded by the surroundings will make possible discussion of Club matters as they come up. It is hoped the new meeting place will bring out larger numbers of our own members in addition to as many out-of-town alumni as may be in Syracuse.
The Community Office of the Onondaga Bank is located in the 1100 block of South Salina Street, at the corner of Raynor Ave., across from Sears-Roebuck.
