On January 22 the Central New Jersey Club opened its winter sessions with its January meeting at the Nassau Tavern in Princeton. The speaker was our treasurer, Frank C. Cole '47, whose subject was "Your Investment Program." To put over his program, Frank Cole used a sound film and answered many questions to gives us a good meeting.
Our next winter meeting is set for February 19 at the Hotel Hildebrecht. It will be a joint Cornell-Dartmouth meeting, with Dartmouth the host club. Last year's affair was a very enjoyable one and we hope to put on a successful night. We will have the annual contest for the "little brown jug" based on attendance.
We hope to have a surprise speaker for our March 26 meeting at the Carteret Club, so no more about that. But I must speak about the dinner meeting on April 23 in New Brunswick. The New Brunswick boys always put on a great night on that occasion; they are already working, and their motto is "Bigger and Better—don't miss it!" The Trenton contingent always like to turn out in force for this event, they enjoy it so much; and they can't say enough in praise and thanks to Van WieIngham '27, LeRoy Height '23, Jim Morgan '41, and the rest of the boys there, for their annual bang-up job.
The ladies are asking already about the May lawn party, but that's too far off to discuss now.
