Good morning, class. The theme of today's column will be, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something from Pittsburgh." Since I'm sure that you are now hot with anticipation, we shall begin.

1. Something Old. From time to time I have the pleasure of cleaning out my drawers. In addition to old socks, I frequently find an old letter or two, which somehow managed to slip through my viselike filing system. This month's cleanup produced a lengthy letter from Jan Gordon. Jan wrote that she had gone through three jobs and five apartments since graduation. How long ago did I receive the letter, you ask? Let's just say that if my calculations are correct, by now Jan has held every job and lived in every apartment in the city of Hartford, Conn. Those of you from Hartford have doubtless lived with Jan at one time or another. I estimate that Jan is currently working in a filling station outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and living in a small, dimly lit apartment above the garage of said filling station.

2. Something New. Actually, I have several new things. First of all, please note my new address below. Why all the recent address changes? Simple. A few months back, I said that anyone in Washington should feel free to stop by. Little did I expect that some of you would actually take me up on the offer. I was forced to move, under cover of darkness, to escape.

Finally, I recently attended the wedding of John "BooBoo" Beuhler and Katherine "Kathy" Mahalick. Also in attendance were H. Ted "H.Ted" Dardani, Jamie "Zor" Resor, Rob "I gotta go, Manhattan needs me" Harteveldt, Scott "Rena" and Rena "Scott" Hoffman, Peter "Amazing" Grace, Kathy Heinz, andTobin "Teabag" Thomas '83. The festivities took place on a 100° day in Joliet, Ill. After the newlyweds left on their honeymoon, the rest of us went back to the Holiday Inn to sweat.

3. Something Borrowed. In a previous column I noted that Ted Cooperstein had been a contestant on the TV game show "Jeopardy," where he won $20,000, or something like that. I said that Ted was the first member of the class to win money on a TV game show. However, I have been informed that John DeVaro won $4,000 on "Scrabble" in 1986. Well, John, I once won $10 playing Parcheesi, but you don't see me telling everyone about it, do you? If you need any help managing your winnings, feel free to send me a stamped, self-addressed envelope. I've been there, I know.

4. Swnethingfrom Pittsburgh. It seems that several of our classmates have been seen in the city that insists on calling itself the "most liveable" city in America. Leading the pack is Michael Whitman, who works for Chubb, which I believe to be the most liveable insurance company in America. Mike Caplan has finished two years of law school at the University of Pittsburgh, which prides itself on being the "most liveable" law school in America.

In closing, I am putting you all on notice. Our 5th Reunion will be this coming June, and I urge all of you to attend. I'm really excited about it. I've even come up with a slogan: "The most liveable reunion in America." Hope to see you there.
