The Dartmouth squash team, under Coach Red Hoehn, has improved since the last report, winning two out of the last three matches for a 3-3 record to date. It downed Wesleyan 7-2 and McGill 7-1, but then was trounced by Yale 8-1. The Indians had little trouble against McGill with Bud Addis, the number one man, and Captain Stew Stearns, playing number two, winning in straight games. Tom Harrington, Ken Harvey, Dan Anzel, Fred Darche and Jed Isaacs all took their matches by 3-1 scores, while Bennett Rogers, playing number five for Dartmouth, was set back 3-1.
Against a powerful Yale club in their most recent match, the situation was reversed. Bud Addis had to rally stoutly to win over Yale's Fred Gardner. His was the only Dartmouth win, although Bob Dean, playing number eight for the Indians, narrowly lost out to his opponent in five games. Matches with Williams, Army and Amherst remain on the schedule before the National Intercollegiates are held at Hanover on March 5-7.
