Rather sad but courageous news has been received from Eugene Burbank of Sierra Madre, Calif. - "After the fire on Mt. Wilson, came the floods. I was evacuated twice at night in the rain and the mud. My place was completely ruined, so deep in mud and rocks that I cannot attempt to restore it. However, the house is still here and I hope to spend my remaining days in it."

Your secretary receives news of the class president Edward T. S. Lord through his son who lives in Winchester. On Easter Sunday the Lords will celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary in the home they have occupied since their marriage. E. T. S. enjoys frequent visits from his children, and his T.V.

On May 15 your secretary with the family pussy cat will move from the house where her parents, the Frank E. Rowes, lived for so many years at 30 Vine St., Winchester. The house has been sold and the secretary is deep in the disposal of the family effects and finding a new home for herself.
