Class of 1877

Katharine Mussey (Hartwell), widow of Rev. John L. Sewall, died October 22 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roswell M. Austin, in St. Albans, Vt., at the age of 63. She was a woman of the highest type of character, and efficiently seconded her husband's long service in the Christian ministry. For the past year she had been dean of women at Piedmont College, Demorest, Ga. Three daughters and one son survive their parents, the son being William Sewall '17.
