HERMAN W. NEWELL '20, Overseer of the Amos Tuck School for the past two years, was elected chairman of the School's Board of Overseers at the June meeting of the Trustees of the College. Mr. Newell succeeds Harvey P. Hood '18 of Boston.

President of Lennen and Newell, New York advertising agency, Mr. Newell has been an overseer of the Hanover Inn and a frequent visiting lecturer at Tuck School. Before becoming president of Lennen and Newell, he was a partner in the firm of Geyer, Newell and Ganger, Inc. He also had been associated with the Eastern Manufacturing Co. in Boston, and from 1924 until 1935 with the Frigidaire Sales Corporation.
