The Dartmouth Club of Honolulu had a very pleasant and sociable gathering on November 19 at the Cannon Club under the sponsorship of Comdr. E. H. Taylor '20, now with the Navy. Members and their wives had cocktails on the terrace overlooking the city and the calm Pacific Ocean, a beautiful sunset adding perfection to the balmy tropical evening, quite a contrast to the chilly fall blasts on Hanover Plain. After cocktails a fine roast beef dinner was enjoyed by all. We would be very happy to have any newcomers or visitors to the Isands get in touch with us and attend our meetings. These are held about every three months, with the next one scheduled for February. The number of alumni in Honolulu does not seem to be great enough to sustain more frequent meetings as was the case during the last war, when there was a great influx of those in the service. Members and wives attending the meeting were:

Dr. Louis Benezet '99, Roger P. Benezet '32, Kan L. Chun '23, Matthew B. Cowden '32 and wife, James E. Doole '45 and wife, Roland W. Higgins '43 and wife, Phillip T. Kelley '48 and wife, Richard H. King '42 and wife, Kline Mann '45, Judge Frank J. McLaughlin '30 and wife, Peter B. Nottage '50 and wife, Dan Smith '49 and wife, Comdr. E. H. Taylor '20 and wife, Louis Valier '37 and wife.
