THREE important regional conferences of Dartmouth alumni will be held this fall, the first being scheduled for San Francisco on October 6 to 9. A Midwestern Enrollment Conference will take place in Indianapolis, October 13-14, and an Eastern Enrollment Conference in Washington, D. C., November 17-18.
President Dickey will head the College delegation at all three of these gatherings which will cover a wide range of Dartmouth activities, with emphasis on enrollment and admissions, secondary school relationships and regional alumni organization. Others going to San Francisco will be Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College; Albert I. Dickerson 'go, director of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid; Edward T. Chamberlain '36, Acting Director of Admissions; and Robert K. Hage '35, executive secretary of the Committee on Scholarships.

The conferences, similar to those held previously in Denver, Atlanta, Dallas and Kansas City, are sponsored by the Dartmouth Alumni Council, and Council members in the respective regions will take a leading part in the programs. In San Francisco, Councillor Guy P. Wallick '21 is chairman of the conference committee and William R. Abbott Jr. '27 heads the host committee. In Indianapolis, Councillor William J. A dinner meeting, open to all alumni and their wives and with President Dickey as guest speaker, will be a big feature of each regional conference. At San Francisco, the President will speak at a concluding banquet on October 8. At Indianapolis, he will speak Thursday night, October 13, at a dinner at which "Red" Rolfe will also address the alumni. And at Washington, he is scheduled to speak Friday evening, November 18. Another Washington dinner meeting, the evening before, November 17, will have Mr. Rolfe as principal speaker.
