1925 Faculty Fund
November 1955

Four years ago the Class of 1985 established a Scholarship Fund which has now crossed the goal of 125,000. This Class was also the first to adopt a Bequest Program, a full year in advance of the Bequest and Estate Planning Program of the College. In 1950 their Memorial Fund campaign was the first in which over $110,000 was presented to the College. In 1953, 1954, and 1955 they led all classes in total dollars raised in the Alumni Fund Campaign.

In addition to the Faculty Fund memorial to Mr. Davis, further memorial fund was established in August of this year. Its purpose is to purchase a new eight-oared shell to be presented to the Dartmouth Rowing Club in the spring of 1956. This will be christened the "Class of 1925 - Jack Davis Memorial" and the Fund was successfully raised through individual gifts from over sixty members of the Class.
