McKay Howard visited France last year, has recently retired, and is in good health.

Hobbs Knight reports that his Ogunquit, Maine, hotel business not only was good last summer but also entertaining. He could look out the pastry kitchen window and see the V. P. Nixon family enjoying their vacation.

Art Winslow, '07 Secretary for Florida, reports a terrific Dartmouth luncheon at the home of Roger Brown '05 on Anna Maria Island on February 17. The Roger Browns were assisted by the Kenyons and the Spragues. The Class of '05 was represented by Fred Chase, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Goodrich, Roger and Mrs. Brown; '06 by Harold Rugg; and '07 by Bob and Mrs. Kenyon; Leon andMrs. Sprague and their daughter, Mrs. Tucker; Allan Brown; Bill and Mrs. Walker;Arthur and Mrs. Winslow. What a party! And they all hoped to meet again at the West Coast Alumni Association meeting on March 9 at St. Petersburg. That is all from Florida for the moment. Now for another point of view.

Bob Stokes has taken note of the annual trek to the southward and he observes as follows: "Naturally, I am not planting parsnips at this time of year, but I am demonstrating that one can enjoy the dolce farniente in winter on the Top of New Jersey as much as in summer on the Riviera. Still a mystery to me why folks under 80 have to light out for Florida in the cooler months. (To me, too, Bob. The Mrs. and I wait until March and then go to Georgia. - Dick Lane)

Bob, following his challenge to the Florida boys, reported with enthusiasm a visit which Mrs. Stokes and he had had recently with Mr. and Mrs. Vic King. Vic, he says, "...is as tall, rugged and handsome as ever; if we elected our chief executives in this country the way the Israelites did at the time of Saul, he would be ...," etc., etc. Quite right, Bob. Then he takes a friendly crack at Ted Glattfeld, "who keeps plugging along on chemical research instead of moving out into the country and buying a dog, - but his letter gives full evidence of unimpaired pep." Bob had nice visits in Hanover last summer with Doctors Hull and Bolser and Prof. Andy Scarlett.

Mr. and Mrs. George Grebenstein celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at their home in Upton, Mass., on December 31.

Our classmate, the Rev. David Thomas, has been in poor health for over two years, his son has recently reported from their home in Okmulgee, Okla.

George and Mrs. Liscomb spent several days at the Hanover Inn during the Christmas holidays. On February 2 George's birthday was celebrated at his Chelmsford, Mass., home, with the help of Bill and Ruth Smart and Herford and Mrs. Elliott.

Our Class representation at the annual dinner of the Boston Dartmouth Alumni Association was: Kitching, Plummer, Sanborn,Wing, Smart, Stevens, Niles, McLane and Lane.

Ed Ashley reports a pleasant visit to Miami early in February.

Cully Pierce and Don Williams waved the flag for '07 at the 41st annual meeting of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association in Keene, N. H., last December. "Almost the most ancient present," says Cully.

Wasn't that a fine report from Judge McLane about '07's leadership in bequests and annuities? We're good!
