We have been impressed by the number of applications we are receiving from this area from boys hoping to enter the College as freshmen next year. Accordingly, we were pleased, indeed, to note that 48 of these prospective students received notices advising them of their admission.

As part of our activity here in Washington, these boys and their fathers were our guests at an evening meeting at the Willard Hotel during which Prof. Arthur Jensen detailed many of the experiences in store for the prospective freshmen, and answered questions of interest to them.

This meeting was attended by approximately 75 men, including the fathers of the Washington contingent of the entering class.

Earlier this month, the Class of '12 held a dinner meeting of their members resident in Washington. At the gathering were: Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Armes, Mr. and Mrs. Warren D. Bruner, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Deffari, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Graves, Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Haskell, Mr and Mrs. Barrow P. Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. John J. McCarthy, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Mosier, Brig. Gen. and Mrs. C. E. Snow and Mrs. Gabriel Forbush.
