Word has recently come of the death of Evelyn Marihew McNutt, wife of Randolph McNutt, at their home in Buffalo, N. Y. Mrs. McNutt was the daughter of Samuel Marihew, who died in a Southern hospital while serving in the Federal army. During her long residence in Buffalo, Mrs. McNutt busied herself in a quiet way in club work, and particularly in the education of young girls. She was greatly interested in giving girls who wanted further education the opportunity.
