By this time, you have had the newsletter report o£ the September Affair in Hanover attended by between 40 and 50 members of the Class, both male and female. We are informed that the weather was gorgeous but the nights at Bonnie Oaks were a little chilly around the edges, the recommended antidote for which seemed to be bundling - up, that is. Pictures of the event did not arrive for this month's deadline, but we hope to have some for you next month. Another weekend like this is in the cards for next fall. Make your plans now! Your scribe and his bride are particularly anxious to make it next year because we had to cancel out this year at the last moment.

Bob and his family will return to their home at 62 Western Drive, Short Hills, N. J. Although we send congratulations, Bob, yours is the job we have always thought of as' the height of frustration - carefully place a couple of million where they will do the most good today and there are two or three or five million more in your mail tomorrow to be disposed of. Like the old legend of the wonderful salt mill which nobody could remember how to turn off. Some day when you're desperate for places to plant the dough, send a million or so along to Dartmouth College with the best wishes of Prudential.

Had a nice letter from Ted Allen expressins his and Laura's regrets at not being able to attend the Rump Reunion in September, but looking forward to the "tremendous twenty-fifth." The Aliens have a new house and almost have it domesticated by now. Try next fall's reunion for size before the 25th, Ted.
We recently enjoyed an extremely interesting evening with Father Ted Purcell who was on his way to address the Canadian Graphic Arts Association in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on the subject in which he has done so much on-the-spot research, "How to be Loyal to the Firm and the Union." Ted manages to keep from being idle with his teaching at Loyola, research on human relations in the meat packing industry, lecturing here and there, writing articles and books, and various other occupations, but the busy life seems to agree with him. He looks fine. Incidentally, Jus & Leigh Stanley, Ted promises he will come up for dinner the very next time you ask him and thus make up for the many times he has been unable to accept your invitations.
This seems fittingly to bring us to Thanksgiving Dinner which seems to be the next item of importance on our agenda this month. Happy turkey to you all!
