Dartmouth defeated Cornell, 27-14, for the first victory at Ithaca since 1936, to bring its Ivy League record to three wins and three losses, with only the Princeton game remaining. Once again, halfback Lou Rovero was the sparkplug as he gained over 100 yards rushing, scored two touchdowns, and set up a third with a surprise pass good for 47 yards. Trailing 7-0 in the second quarter, the Indians scored twice before halftime and twice more in the final period. Fullback Dave Pratt, substituting for Captain Bob Rex, also starred for the Green and had a major hand in two of the touchdowns.
