Pittsfield

Forty-eight members, wives and guests of the Dartmouth Club of Berkshire County gathered at the Country Club of Pittsfield to celebrate Dartmouth Night, Friday October 19. At the meeting Howard D. Sammis '23 of Pittsfield, one of the first presidents of the club when it was started in the early 1930s, was again elected president, succeeding John F. Treadway '39.

Newly elected President Sammis introduced our most welcome guest and speaker, Prof. Herbert R. Sensenig '28. The Club's greeting to Hanover was prepared and read by Secretary Emeritus, Harry B. Johnson '04.

Other officers elected were: Robert K. Hess '41 - Vice-President; Henry H. Williams Jr. '49 - Secretary-Treasurer; F. A. Hanlon '22 - Enrollment Chairman; and Harry B. Johnson '04 - Interviewing Chairman.

In addition to the above mentioned the following alumni present were: S. P. Bates '22, W. A. Blais '30, P. Bradley '28, A. H. Childs '32, R. C. Ceeley '50, A. Combes III '41, A. E. Dorr '10, D.
