Dick Rearick is assistant to the general purchasing agent at United States Envelope Company. He has been with this company since 1951. The Rearicks, wife Eileen, Jonathan Royal — almost 6 - and Peter Christian, age 4, make their home in Suffield, Conn. Bettyand Bob Allen are the proud parents of their second daughter and third child, Meredith Anne, horn January 19. Deborah, 3½, and Robert Jr., 4½, complete their family.
Townes Harris is a recent visitor at the Hanover Inn. Arnold Weber was engaged in January to Miss Frances C. Saffir, a senior at Mount Holyoke College. Lynn Jacobs writes a nice note for her husband Ed, president of a subsidiary of Mays Department Store in Brooklyn. They have two boys, Bruce, age 6, and Dennis, 3, who are already registered as students at Dartmouth. The Jacobs have been in their house three years in Kew Gardens, N.Y.
Dave and Phyllis Wilcox are the proud parents of Gilford Walker, their first, born in November 1955. Hugh Chapin's son Stewart, 9 months, provides Hugh and Joan with more entertainment than usual since he has learned to crawl and is growing some teeth.
Jerry Kirchner is still "busy as all heck running my ski lodge in Stowe, Vt., The Stowe Hollow Inn." Ernie and Doris Caster spent the holidays baby-sitting with their brand new baby daughter, 10-week-old Susan Leetta. Jack Halpin continues to practice law in Redding, Calif., specializing as much as possible in Labor law and working for the trade unions in the area. He is also working in the Democratic party organizations.
Capt. Chuck Langley is not stationed at the Naval Base as reported recently. He is living there, and is stationed at the Marine CorpsNavy Publicity Bureau in Philadelphia. JimHolway is on a two-year leave of absence from his work as senior engineer with Westinghouse's Air Arm Division in Baltimore. He is now in the Navy at White Sands, New Mexico, working on a Guided Missile project. The Holways spent this past summer at the Navy's Guided Missile School at Virginia Beach, Va., where they saw Bob Bade, Lt. USN.
Bun Harvey is manager of aluminum sales with Ryerson Steel at the Boston plant. The old Harvey firm, Harvey Steel Co., merged into the Ryerson organization last March. Bob Grosby spent part of the Christmas holidays skiing at Stowe, Vt.
Art Bastien has completed a tour of duty with the Marine Reserve in Korea and is back with his business, Bastien's Jewelry, in Williamstown, Mass. Art and his wife Marie Ann have a year-old daughter Michelle Marie, expected their second child this past January.
Joe Jordan was getting settled in his second new house for 1955 during the holiday season. He bought a new one in Cleveland, 0., in June, then changed jobs from sales promotion manager for Ohio Machine Co., to salesman for same organization in Canton, O. Thus the second new home.
Jake Gleber is in Old Hickory, Tenn., working for duPont Co., branch office of En- gineering Service Division, set up in Nashville for plant assistance to company plants within a 200-mile radius. So he gets to Memphis, Chattanooga, Columbia, Louisville, Indiana, Ordinance. There was no snow in Tennessee for Christmas, so Jake played golf twice during the weekend. He speaks of a wonderful Christmas with his wife and four children. How about the names and ages of your youngsters?
Bob Rowland is traveling Suffolk County, N.Y„ as a special agent for the Aetna Insurance Co. He spent two years on active duty with the Navy, July 1952 to 1954, on a minesweeper in Korea and California. The Rowlands have one daughter Pamela, born April 14, 1955.
