To THE EDITOR:
A few months back I read with keen interest the story you ran on Kenneth W. Turner '28, a paralytic, who is fighting such a game fight and who had recently gone into the magazine subscription business. At that time I fully intended to turn over to him renewals of all magazine subscriptions but being human proceeded to forget about it. Were it not for a direct mailing piece from him, offering his services, I am afraid that my original impulse would have gone the way of most good intentions.
Since all of my subscriptions do not expire at the same time, I have torn the stenciled addresses off the covers of the magazines and have forwarded them to Ken suggesting that he contact me a few months before expiry. While I realize that a few subscriptions are not meaningful, it occurred to me that if the entire Dartmouth family did the same thing, Ken would be deluged with future prospects. If you think it appropriate, I would deeply appreciate your publishing this letter as a further reminder to many of the gang who, I am sure, plan to do the same thing.
Ken's address is: Free Hill Road, Tompkins Cove, New York.
