The sport of boxing, being revived this winter by Corey Ford at his home gymnasium, has already paid dividends. Senior Herb Wahl, a member of the Boxing Club, won the New Hampshire light-heavyweight Golden Gloves crown with a T.K.O. win over Bob Flynn of Greenfield, N. H. Another club member, Steve Ducker 58, won his first bout but did not continue in the Golden Gloves competition because of exams. The Boxing Club has several informal matches with other college clubs scheduled this winter and hopes to expand activities next year.
