One winter team to report on: The Dartmouth skiers finished third at the NCAA Championships behind Denver and Colorado. Dartmouth ace Ralph Miller finished first in the downhill, second in the slalom, 11th in the jump, and 12th in cross country to win the NCAA Skimeister title. Dartmouth captain Chick Igaya won the slalom and took second in the downhill. Dartmouth was strong in Alpine events, but lost too many points in the cross country and jumping.

In other late winter news, Captain Ron Judson was selected for Look Magazine's District I NCAA basketball team, while center Jim Francis was named to the All-Ivy League first team.
