The Dartmouth wrestling team saw action in only one match during the past month and managed to edge by the University of Massachusetts 18-15 for a record of four wins and one defeat.

As usual, the Indian grapplers had to come from behind as they forfeited the 130-pound division. Dartmouth's Bob Grochowski was pinned by the Massachusetts captain at 137 pounds and Jim Taylor lost out in the 145-pound class. The Indians came back with Captain Ron Chilson winning by a pin at 157 pounds; then Hank Reuling decisioned his opponent at 165 pounds, and Fred Pitzner at 175 pounds and Bob Bickell in the heavyweight class both won by falls to gain victory for Dartmouth.

Colgate, Amherst, M.I.T. and the New England tournament remain on the schedule.
