A sport which is attracting more of a following every year is rugby, and at Dartmouth the Rugby Club has produced winning teams for the past several seasons. This fall the ruggers, away to a strong start, defeated Canadair of Montreal 17-0 during the Penn football weekend and then walloped both the A and B teams of M.I.T. by 19-0 and 23-0 scores on the Holy Cross weekend.
The current lettermen on the squad are Al Brown '59, Dave Farfan '60, Roland Kolman '60, Dana Johnson '60, Bill Grey and Jim Perry, both seniors - who are all in the "scrum." Playing in the backfield are Dick Liesching, president of the club, Captain John Hessler, Earl Glazier and Dennis Goodman. All are seniors except Goodman, who is a junior.
Harvard, the New York Rugby Club, Princeton and another Canadian team remain on the fall schedule.
